Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement and manage e-commerce solutions using WooCommerce.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and plugins.
- Ensure website responsiveness and mobile compatibility.
- Manage website backups and updates.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website designs and content.
- Implement SEO best practices within WordPress.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Engineer or Developer.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core functionality and architecture.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce development.
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of database management (MySQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug website issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Understanding of website security best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO plugins and best practices within WordPress.
